Shell Omala S2 GX 100 is a high-quality industrial gear oil formulated to provide exceptional protection and performance in heavy-duty gear systems. Its advanced formulation ensures excellent wear and micropitting protection, even under high loads, thereby extending the lifespan of gear components.

The oil’s superior thermal and oxidative stability allows it to withstand high temperatures and resist the formation of sludge, maintaining its effectiveness even when bulk oil temperatures reach up to 100°C.

Designed for enclosed industrial gear systems, Shell Omala S2 GX 100 is suitable for use in steel-on-steel, spur, helical, or planetary gear drives, including highly loaded systems with splash or forced circulation systems. It is also appropriate for non-geared applications such as bearings and other steel-on-steel components within splash or forced circulation systems.

This gear oil meets the requirements of several industry standards, including ISO 12925-1 Type CKD and CKC, DIN 51517-Part 3 CLP, AGMA EP 9005-F16, AIST (US Steel) 224, and Fives Cincinnati P-76. It is approved by Siemens AG for use in Flender helical, bevel, planetary, and marine gear units.
